With your condescending tone,
Talking down to me as if I'm beneath you,
But let me tell you something,
I won't be silenced by your arrogance.
I may not have all the fancy words,
But I have something you lack,
Authenticity, empathy, and respect.
So go ahead and keep talking down to me,,
I am strong, I am capable,
And I will rise above your belittlement.
No matter how much you try,
To diminish my worth and my voice,
I will always stand tall,
Defiant against your patronizing ways.
