thorned flowers

cold as winter
blank as a clean sheet of paper
I was wondering around like a lifeless corpse
until the day I met you
you filled my world with colours
A world with diamond beeds
laughter followed us where ever we go
Twilight awaits n here we come
oh how beautiful was our life
with stars singing above our heads
until the day I got plucked by your hands
you took the full bloomed flower
and gave it to someone new
you replaced me with that new bud of urs
taking my nectar and leaving the thorns.
The stars are same
the sun shines still as bright as before
The only problem is me
with my wonderland frozen till death
Owh how a day can't be passed
without hurting myself
But look her comes the new bud
dashing through the thorns you've planted
owh how long it took me dear
to see the beauty of the thorned flowers
