The floods swept another home
It wasn't yet dawn
Three kids lost their all
But those aren't my children
Hunger struck like a disaster
Famine had drained all grains
A malnourished child died in pain
But those aren't my children
Bullets sprayed
They tried praying
But the rebels were here for war
More than a dozen coffins were made
But those aren't my children
Cold on the pavement
A child with another child
It's late but it's not like they have a home yet
But those aren't my children
Those might not be my children
But it tears me apart when i see this
I pray and sometimes make a wish
For someday am gonna fulfill some child's wish
Let's learn to give the little that's there
Let's care even if it's rare
They might not be your children but humanity still craves for some real souls
