The heat from the stress has been creeping slowly up my spin.
Making it's way ever slowly to the very core of my simple mind.
With it, it brings up a very real feeling of shame and guilt.
Not because of all the wicked I have done, or dreams I have killed.
No, it brings about a shame where as a man I've all but failed.
My actions wrong and unjust sweeping through like winds of gale.
And with these winds of change that blow ever surely through my life.
It brings to light a sadden truth, I have lost both family and wife.
Not physically, they still dwell within these walls of this shaky home.
But the instability of those four walls weakens me to my very bone.
Here inside this prison I have made, the guards of which are but a weakened skull.
I feel the darkness setting in, I feel a losing battle does call.
Will I ever find relief in this, my own chains that wrap me in my shame?
Or will I simply succumb to the losses, give into this twisted game?
Can I find the strength to crawl anymore to find the key which will release?
I need solace, within my own soul, before I'll ever find external peace.
But the whirlwind now consumes me, the calm I found was only the eye of the storm.
If I can not fins the answers soon, I will forever live in scorn.
Yes, there if I do find myself, one thing I know will be a scary form of true.
They will find me inside my own chambers, body turned black and blue.
