Here I am again
Scribbling my thoughts into words
As the clock ticks three
Am I the lone soul awake
In this corner of the earth
I wonder if someone out there
Is doing the same
When sleep is elusive
What do I do
Count sheeps
That sure won't do
Gaze at the night skies
And whisper my dreams to the stars
Hoping someday
I'll find answers to the questions in my mind.
