I'm trying
that's more than I can say
about my past
take a few pages back
I was lost
without a time and place
searching for something
out of reach
searching for a numbness
to alleviate the pain
the pain inside
I tried so hard to hide
the person I could not find
was me
the love I could not find
was within
the happiness and truth
was waiting
just beyond the fog
when the wind finally broke lose
and the noose I had tide
fell around my neck
I thought it was over
this was the end
it was not the end
but a new beginning
a course to set
a changing of time and place
no more feeling like a disgrace
taking this route
without doubts
love light and truth
that's what I'm all about
