Three souls trapped

Eyes between the slits of the window,
Eyes that always looked out at passersby.
In an aging house, reeking of rot,
This house, in the middle of a rustling city lies,
The city lights, and sounds of the drunken brawls.

Amused, this little girl by the window.
But one day everything went silent.
No light, no sound, even the winds stopped to blow.

Confined to a life of silence,
She sat speechless in her wooden aged rocking chair.
Torn clothes, dirty feet and messed up figurine, darkened hair.
This little girl crept down with tired sunken eyes.
The darkness, is where she lies.

Nobody their to hold her when she cries.
The darkness is where she lies.
The only thing that looks through the window crack is her two darkened eyes.

Was it her curse that brought about this pallid dawn.
She wanted to know where everyone was gone.
So she stepped out of the house,
The house that trapped her like a mouse.

Under the glistening sun,
She saw a million people dead.
What had she done?
The world was submerged in red.....
Where was her mother and elder brother?
Why was she alone for so long,
What happened to the others?

Imprisoned in her own domain.
Latching on to all the pain.
Disfigured, torn, and split in her mind.
Not realizing she was dead to,
Her spirit needed a chance to unwind.

Three souls trapped in an obscure horrifying place.
If only she could see their face.
If only someone could guide them to the light.
Tenaciously, she tries to fight.
If only they could have guided all three souls to the light.
