Through the Eye of the Hourglass

Time sifts through the narrow waist
Of life's hourglass, each grain a taste
Of moments lost, of dreams yet chased;
Yet, with each fall, hope is embraced.

For in every speck that cascades down,
Lies the potential for crowns or gowns,
A future bright, in light or frown,
Promising more than what we've known.

So let the sands of time freely flow,
For within them lies tomorrow's glow,
A beacon for us, to chase, to grow—
In hope's embrace, our futures sow.
