Overnight it has snowed
The ground a bit of white
Green grass mixed in with
It's such a beautiful sight
The snow has changed
It is now like ice pellets
Crashing into the ground
How slippery will it get?
Cold and chilly today
Winter is eager to visit
Maybe it's a short stay
A few days then it quits
First week of December
Christmas is not far away
Santa, Rudolph and elves
Frosty also comes to play
Not long after Christmas
The new year will begin
Resolutions will be made
Things vowed never again
Another year will commence
To start a new hobby or craft
Just to be kinder is enough
And stay on a positive path
