Tic-tacs form at the base of my eyes
They arent white or blue or even red
They are clear
The purest tic-tacs
They roll down my cheek
All the way to my mouth
They dont taste like anything but salt.
but I guess you gotta take things with a grain of salt sometimes
My blue eyes look beyond my glasses and beyond the visual senses
Into a memory of metal
Scraping skin
...
but I shut that out
...
But that doesnt work
...
So I give them new names
Make it more barrable
As I recall that Somewhere On my soul carrier
Are little lines
From a coloring pencils
With smaller forms of red tic-tacs
Seeping into the bed.
My lips hold a sorrow full tune
Of regret
But my eyes tell a tale of pain
And my mind is hazy
But I suspect thats because all the tic-tacs are packing up and leaving my body to fend for its self
Fucking Traitors
In my hands is a sliver of the color silver
So shiny
As if it crawled straight off the color scales
Crushed red tic-tacs line the sliver of silver like a shadow
So I take it up against my skin
I make it my skins shadow
because if the tic-tacs wanna leave me then I'll let them out
I wont keep them in a cage of flesh
And soon the ice bucket washes over the piolet in my brain
Startled, they work into over drive
Struggling to keep their plane above
The cascading lands of red tic-tac cages
And the sliver of silver that seems to be the route of all things tic-tac leaving related
The piolet fights to stay above the land
Just like a ship above water
Only you dont drown
You crash
after several failed attempts and a too close call with someone named gravity
Some how he stabalizes the plane
calm washes over the cascading down the plane and into the air
disentergrating my idea makers debate of all things evil
and the tic-tac juice makers forced marathon
The red tic-tacs line like dead bodies
On the path of a war
a war of tic-tac juice and idea makers
But soon after the calm washes away the sweat and fatal what ifs
the piolet falls asleep
My tic-tac juice maker still beats and unsteady beat
It thumps thump thumps
And it drives me to insanity
I lost so many tic-tacs pure and red and beautifully me
I lost alot of friends and part of my self along this battle but they were crutial losses they did not die in vain
I won this battle now I have to win the war for the lost tic-tacs pure and red all of whom became my friend and the parts of me that I lost with them.
