I saw her again today
In shrouded garments faraway.
Though distant, my eyes didn't betray
The majestic sight clad in hazy mist,
Of her peaks and fog move in slow twist
An overt display of a nature's own tryst.
An as if aware of a distant human spy,
She wrapped herself in clouds of sky,
And quietly, suddenly said goodbye,
In the third morning of a febrile February.
For how long will I this feverish want carry?
I plead, be with me till the end of January,
When my older eyes will perhaps see you,
And hopefully my eyes will still be on cue,
To feast well on you before you say adieu.
