We all went to the summer field
Aware there was no one who could possibly save us
We held our fate in our hands and for our hearts,
we buried with clay.
We forgot a place called home;
We lost a hand to hold ;we erased something called love and believed in hope,
All we waited for was the sunset.
We were prepared ;we closed our eyes when we felt hurt
We fell when grace was pulled like the mat under our feet.
We needed to heal, but who would help us;
What would redeem us?
A doctor? A physician?
A wizard who would shine in white? A witch? A magician maybe
We asked these questions times and times again
For the day we could be saved, we know not.
Our creator has this planned;he smiled when we murmured
He announced, your healer would come soon, not just any but the one I've chosen ;he won't be clothed in white or silver
For he shall arise in bright gold
He walks only in two sounds, "a tic and a tok"
Two black fangs which would change the world and destroy the dreams of many.
