Time is like our friend,
always giving of itself.
Time is like our enemy,
laughing when we are late.
Time is sufficient
with no minute to spare.
Time is fair to all,
although it appears not so.
Time we do not own,
tough we have our own time.
Time cannot be bought.
No price would do.
Time cannot be seen.
What does it look like?
We only see the evidence;
the signs of ageing.
Look around, time is running out,
but that's okay.
This is the time we are given
So enjoy it while it lasts.
