You, I let others believe we are contempt and happy with our circumstances
We want the world to know we have no problems
No aspirations besides the ones assumed by others

Every night I fall asleep knowing of the decisions I could have made
Wishing I could have spent my time differently
Believing I'll exert the energy I didn't use today for tomorrow
But if you're like me you fail and push it off for a future self
Then in that blissful peace between conscienceness and sleep
I gain an unnatural level of confidence
Simulating a billion scenarios of what I plan to do
Going through how I'm going to talk to that girl I never had the courage to talk to before
Thinking about how happy I'll feel from the fact that I did it
But the next morning the fear of rejection or being judged overtakes
And I return to my insecure shell
Well that's me and if that's you
I'm here to say no more
No more to living by the fear of an unknown tomorrow or circumstance
Because time is the one thing I, we can never get back
I need to do these things while I'm young
So I don't have the option to look back with regret
