Would it change anything

If hearts and roots beckoned
I'm sure thoughts about upheaval
Are the last things on your list
But time waits for no one
Can't get back what you've missed
If the outcome makes you question
Or regret weighs heavily
You can always make another choice
And then decide differently
Our days on earth are numbered
We have a dash between two dates
Every choice teaches us a lesson
