my old furry best friend, even after all these years without you, my heart still yearns for you. I miss all your crazy antics and your loyal, loving soul. Every morning, without fail, you'd greet me with a shoe, an excited force of energy, and a frantic wagging tail. I miss our long walks together down the old trail, across the vast open fields, and along the river coal. I remember the times you made me laugh when you'd jump in the tall grass like a kangaroo. Popping your head out above the green blades looking mischievous you.
Your magnificent coat of black, white, and brown, and your jet-black tail with a tip as white as snow, you were a handsome boy.
My friend, you were always by my side. I have so many happy childhood memories, all because of you. The day time took you away, it broke my heart in two. And even though I'm now a man, I've never forgotten you. Until my days on earth are through, I'll always remember you. And when that day comes, I know then I'll see you again,we will play together once more, my furry old best friend.
