How have you been?
Good I hope,
I really miss you my friend.
It's been a while,
Since I last wrote,
Since then, I've been wondering:
Did you read my last note?
If not, That's okay,
And it's quite alright,
It wasn't that important,
Something I wanted to confide.
I wanted to ask you:
Why you write?
You know, those poems,
You put up on the site?
I'm just starting out,
And I don't have much clout,
That's why I'm wondering,
What your writings are about?
Do you have some urge,
To tell an awesome story?
Or are you one of those poets,
Who is hoping for glory?
Is it easier to,
Express yourself through verse?
Then you'll be glad to know,
You aren't the first!
Is there some reason,
Why you write?
I'd love to know,
And get some insight.
