P

To dark to play

He woke up one day
nobody was around to play
It was a quiet empty house
Except for a tiny little mouse
That made no sound
as it clattered up and down
As to rest of the town
that gave him a frown
There was just no one around
Not even the bark of a dog song of a bird or a purr of a cat
He was alone on the porch he sat
Day and night just like a brat
He then got in the car
Droves around town not too far
He drove to the pier
To see if any boats were near
He drove to the west
Cuz they said that it was the best
He drove to the east
All he smelt was Yeast
He drove to the middle of town
got out of the car and stood
Then smiled and he jumped on his hood
He drove back to check the tv
There was nothing to see
The TV just didn't work
So he stabbed it with a big pitchfork
He then threw the tv over the wall
He watched it fall
He had plenty to eat
He had shoes on his feet
Then he smiled againhe would be just fine
He laughed said everything is now mine
Months rolled by
still no one came bye
Outside of this dream
Father wanted to scream
Mother was crying
There boy was dying
He was only 17
He was pronounced dead at the scene
He's been on a machine for 5 days
they decided to pull the plug today
the brain in his head
The doctors said was dead
He looked outside strange the sky looked red
He got dressed to go outside to ride
He liked his bike it gave him pride
He felt the ground shake
Then the doctors pulled the plug on Blake
He wanted to stay
But it was too dark to play
