We grew side by side,
You taught me of life and all it's lessons,
At each sun, a new day
You remind me that I should be happy...
Calling out my name though it hurts to always hear from you,
You say I should choose happiness
Even if you keep on stubbing my back,
That I should forget the scars you've left me with..
At each rise of a moon and the sight of stars.
Your echo summons my tears sometimes but
I'm better than my past.
I live today and each second is a blessing
I will rejoice and be glad in it!
