Chaos screamed,
As bliss kissed the night.
His wretched smile cracked,
The moon with solid might
Anointed in melancholy,
Jaded were his bones.
A dance in the dark,
In a chapel carved from stone.
Ascension was his dream,
To the holy he would stutter
At the left hand of God,
Only his poems he would mutter.
