to love someone.
who you can't taste feel see or hear.
is debilitating.
to know you will never meet their gaze again.
is utterly horrible.
to not smell their perfume again.
to feel death of your nose.
to want heaven but it is so far away.
the taste of her lipstick you have flashbacks of.
the warmth of her body though you still feel the hug.
how tightly that embrace melted away from you?
yet you laid there in bed reliving the whispers of her voice her laugh.
to know the sweetness is gone.
but there's a ache.
serenading your chest.
of a love you can't forget.
knowing the pain you just lived with.
you slept with it at night.
fore the cold of your sheets never know warmth.
yet you clinged to someone else.
knowing they're forever gone.
so you pray for a ghost of less existing.
just lingering to be.
to feel something again.
knowing she only made you feel complete.
bigger in your small little hell.
to suffocate.
to know she was what it was to breathe.
to love somebody.
and never get to watch them leave.
it hurts.
that's what it's like for me.
