Beautiful but lost within
They dragged each other together so nobody could win.
It would be their safe place
Under the covers, embraced in each other's space.
Nobody over powered each other.
Entangled together, forever..
They hid the facts and lost the bait.
It just wasn't their forbidden fate.
Covered amongst, their nightmares
Was a stranger who didn't care.
Now crawling backwards to where they hid their fears.
Another story, another tear.
Rejected by the one they love
Taking in the heartache, was just to much.
