Dear Silvio Pasquale,
You are an amazing poet and a kind man
who I can open up to.
You are the first male poet and friend who I trust with my words.
I thank you and Terry Corbett for being such amazing friends to me.
I believe you're a true man of God Silvio who wants to always do right.
Honestly, at first, when I met you on Terry Vortex Poetry page I thought I was communicating with the woman in your profile pic, which is your girlfriend.
Until you inboxed me, that was when I realized I was talking to a man not the woman in your profile pic😂.
Looking at your profile name SILVIO, I thought about it again. I said to myself, the name SILVIO is not a woman's name, it is a male name. When I realized you was a man who inboxed me, I felt uncomfortable because personally I have a hard time opening up to men because of my past experience I had gone through opening up to men and they took advantage of me accept for the man who I am in a relationship with. Most men who I communicated virtually with or in person always used me sexually and I did not like that. When I got to know you Silvio, I knew you was a good male friend and a man of God who would not do such things. I believe in you Silvio my dear friend. I wanted to tell you all of this when we talked on the phone, but I could not because I did not want to make you feel bad. Honestly I rather communicate with you by words through writing and texting. I thank the Lord so much for Poetry where we all can be totally honest with each other on paper or by app if we struggle to voice our concerns in person or by phone.
I have a hard time expressing what I feel towards men, and it has been always hard meeting a male friend to connect with because the male friends I had in the past did not just want to be my friend, they wanted a relationship with me. They did not respect my boundaries and did not understand that I was already taken. I truly apologize Silvio for mistaken you for someone else, and I apologize for doubting you in the beginning. But what I know now is that you're a true friend of God, and your girlfriend is very blessed to have such a man of God like you Silvio.
That is why I am writing this poem directly to you my friend. I wrote a poem at the bottom of this post for you and for your girlfriend. Please share this poem to your girlfriend.
A Poem For Silvio and To His Girlfriend
Like no other
Like every brave soul,
You both are beautiful together,
May the sun shine on you both,
you both may not always succeed,
but never cease your crusades to earn it.
But you two will prosper in the future.
Like every beautiful star, you two may dazzle eternally,
Like most wonder hearts, you too shall pump till peace,
so live every moment like you reign it.
Enjoy you Both's time with each other.
Be kind to one another,
Be faithful,
Keep praising the Lord together.
But unlike others, no matter what happens tomorrow,
always smile, and smile like you both mean it.
