If we never understood the power of love
Then we would of never understood enough.
The lines of our communication somewhere lost its way.
Guess that's why you chose not to stay.
I never gave up on us
But you gave up on love.
Grasping on different sides of reality really gave me a fright.
How am I supposed to sleep without hearing your voice tonight.
We tried our best, but our best just wasn't what we thought.
These feelings of neglect we have fought.
Now we are denying
of ever trying..
Because going back there really hurt.
And some how we got burnt.
So we will turn the page and move on.
To a place that we felt strong.
To a fantasy we live in our minds.
To a past we left behind..
To a world where we both shine.
