Hello there, let me introduce myself.
My name is Devontae Devon Williams.
Some may consider me as an African American, but me I consider myself as just an American.
Just a normal light skinned American.
Trying to make it in a place where no human shall be.
They may or may not have plenty of things we may see.
But me, regardless of where I'm put
I'll always be me.
I'm not going to lie and tell you I pray.
Because, that will be lying,
and you won't believe anything I say.
Yes, I may be bisexual or gay.
But I'm still myself at the end of the day.
"To Whom This May Concern'
There is still plenty for you to learn.
Even though you say you understand.
Just know I'm still a man.
I may be stuck in the can.
Only to know that one day I'll be free.
When I get out I will go back to thee.
To let you know that you,
will always be my forgiving tree.
When I do get out, I will go back.
To the place that kept me on track.
Instead of sitting here in a rack.
"To Whom This May Concern"
I'll say to all of them, I'm back!
I'll start my new journey.
And this time it will not be so corny.
I'll work for it all.
Then I'm going to stand tall.
Try not to fall.
While I'm at the welcome home ball.
I'll say like,
Mr. Martin Luther King,
I have a dream that one day...
I'll find Mr. or Mrs. Right,
to give them vowing ring.
"To Whom This May Concern"
This is the lesson on
Devontae D. Williams you learned.
