Today can be better, a thought that we can ponder,
Much we can do to improve, explore, and wander,
We can make it brighter, so much more worth savoring,
Garnished with effort, with hope ever flourishing.
Today can be finer, with opportunities unlocked,
Start with a goal, the journey has been stocked,
We can offer kindness, scattered wherever we'll go,
Blessing others with joy, much fruit it will sow.
Today can be higher. If we open eyes wide,
Achieving the impossible, in spite of the tide,
Finding solutions to problems, making paths for reform,
Turning misfortunes to fortunes, through fortitude and warm.
Today can be grander, a majestic moment of truth,
Courageously finding success, its secrets aloof,
We can make it better, something worth celebrating,
Through hard work, this day, creative and elating.
