*Today was no normal day
It was a cold chilly day
It was a sunday
My worship day,
But i went to stay home
Not home by the warm blankets
And the hot cup of coffee
But home by the prayers
And the words of the preachers,
Today was no normal day
It was a praise day,
To He who died;
On the streets rejected,
By the courts beaten,
By the roads, burdened
On the hills,crucified
By the tomb,resurrected
To the sky,magnified
By his father, worshipped,
All for my salvation
And a load of redemption.
Today was no normal day
It was a blessed day,
A day of joy and healing
Not pain and crying,
Today is Christ's day
Relaxation day
So in Him should you stay
On your knees to pray.
