Today I Saw a mother pray,
No,not in church
Not by the confession booth,
Neither by the alter,
but today i saw a mother pray.
She prayed,
not in church,
but by an hospital bed
where all hope was dead
the doc' said he was dead
and she had were last wishes
to pay her respect and walk away
but this Mother prayed and stayed,
This mother pleged with the holy Spirit
she never lowered her hopes,highed her spirits.
Today i saw a mother pray
for her son to stay,
Today i saw a woman talk with God
to let her son have one nod,
Today i saw the power of a mother,
today a son resurrected,
today i saw love and faith.
Her prayer brought fourth her son
one that was gone and done,
This mother prayed and the God heard
Now she's all glad,
Everyone stands amazed.
Today i saw a mother Pray,
who brought hope in dead day,
Today i saw faith in action
i knew God is no fiction.
But when that mother prayed
impossibility vanished into thick air
for God was now there.
Let's Pray,
