I lost faith in my own well being, but you did to.
We we're never meant to be together.
This wasn't our forever.
That night that I left you crying in the rain,
it wasn't supposed to bring you pain.
Our love was like thunder and lightning which together made a storm.
Our love was not sealed in the stars,
we broke every rule in the book of love, we we're torn.
When I first laid eyes on you, I felt your pain.
I was only supposed to heal you not leave you standing in the rain.
Now today I look back at what we had.
I felt every memory and it makes me sad.
I see walking down the street with a new man and your smiling, for that I am glad.
I never wanted any pain in your life.
with me we would of suffered sorrow and strife.
You we're meant to be somebody else's wife.
I always loved you as a person but you weren't for me.
Today I am still walking free.
