Being told she was beautiful
That was new to her.
Nobody has ever said that to her
Including her mother,
She would say
"You are clever",
But beauty that was never ever
Out of her mouth,
Well she craved of hearing those words
She would sit on a corner
Alone and hear those words said by one
On her head
Beauty ,Beauty, Beauty,
She dreamt and wished
of those work said to her,
She would look at herself in the mirror
Try to find what's wrong,
But couldn't get the answer
She would assume if it her colour,
Her skin, her
eyes,her body,
Her gaped teeth,
But couldn't find what's wrong
She would possibly look at everything she can see,
And all she could see was beauty,
But still asked why not her,
Asked if she is not enough,
She never got a true answer
But today her dream came true,
"Finally someone saw beauty in me" she said
