Touched by faith

I wasn’t searching for a sign,
Just peace to soothe this heart of mine.
But faith reached out with unseen hand,
And helped my soul to rise and stand.
No lightning flashed, no thunder roared,
Just whispers that my spirit soared.
A gentle tug, a sacred breath—
That pulled me back from fear and death.
Touched by faith, not sight or sound,
But something deep and so profound.
It held me when I couldn’t see,
And whispered, “Child, just follow Me.”
Through valleys dark and shadows deep,
It carried me when I couldn’t leap.
It lit a fire I couldn’t fake—
A holy passion wide awake.
I once was bound by doubt and fear,
But now I walk with purpose clear.
For I was touched—no longer the same,
By faith alone, in Jesus' name.
