Just like the running water, I will continually move.
Not so much for the joy of travelling barren lands,
Nor for the joy of testing the ends of my strength
But to continually wrap the hearts of men with joy and purpose.
For I have seen the joy of the lonely wonderer when I am chanced upon.
Never ask me to stagnate, a lake will I not be.
For we are all meant to serve different purposes.
I have seen many a man abandon their life's goal.
Fascinated by their temporal respite, they drop their walking shoes.
Neglecting their sense of urgency and earlier brawls with life they fold their arms.
I will continually travail for it is yet day in my life.
I have seen the fear and regret that come with night time
May I never forget the purpose of this pilgrimage.
My compass and map may it be throughout my days
And when all is said and done on this journey,
He who sits on the throne may crown me with the promised stars.
For I have faced the cold brow of life and yet prevailed.
