The road gets really rough
And life seems so tough
Like a streak of bad luck
You get lost in the darkness
Finding yourself wandering
Around in the wilderness
Drifting from
Day to day
Going further and further astray
Loosing your way
Feeling to lost
And depressed
To even pray
And God just seems
So far away
Can't handle the weight
With a cloud
Over your head
And no sun Ray's
You can't see ahead
Theirs nothing
But stormy rain
And satans voice
Running threw your brain
Bringing failures and sins
Back into remembrance
So clearly
So loudly
You loose faith and hope
Living blindly
Yet somehow
Still seeking
The King Of Kings
Searching for peace
Mercy and grace
Then you finally
Hit rock bottom
Yet your still dropping
Still falling
Feeling like a corpse
Gon rotten
Long forgotten
Your exhausted and fatigued
Waiting for Gods timing
Then suddenly
In an instant
You can see the light
And the cross
Shackles start falling off
Your no longer lost
Your eyes open wide
And your surprised
To see
That Christ Jesus
Never once
Left your side
