Have you ever seen a phoenix?
By dawn, it rises from ashes,
bone to bone slowly turning into flesh,
gloriously wearing blaze as its coat.
As hard as we fall,
we must learn to let go,
bruises and cuts,
should be worn as a pride.
Facing humiliation, what an assault.
Devouring my soul,
inch by inch,
depth by depth.
Little did I know,
laying at the corner,
leaving only the corpse.
Like Icarus, we fall,
plunged into the bottom,
and swept ashore,
but that does not mean we won't rise again.
