True Love

True love isn’t a scorching fire that burns
It isn't the name of winter that can't be borne
Love is like a gust of air in the summer
It is a marvelous idea that simmers
The moonlight falling on rippling water
A colt grazing in the quiet valley without a halter
It is the gentle coastal waves at the night
It is the twinkling of stars at an enormous height
It is the pain that signals the recovery and healing
Love is a naive and innocent feeling
True love can never be forgotten and lost
It is attainable and practical at last
It breeds compassion and comfort
It urges one to bear and never allow one to confront
True lovers neither lose nor whine
Like a shoal, they eternally play and swim
true lover resembles an innocent butterfly
Feels its sweetheart, whirls like a Sufi, and fly
