I always think to myself how I'm so underappreciated and Underrated,
Still waiting on that breakthrough of process I was promised after all of those times I've Waited,
Really hurts me that I don't get the love that I feel like I truly Deserve,
Got me feeling mad and always striking a bad Nerve,
Will I ever switch up to please others? No as that's not how I'm built Inside,
I've taken the backseat multiple times instead of displaying my Pride,
Trust the process, yeah that's the motto that I live by and something that I will never Cheat,
Even if it means that I have to be the one that's burning up in this Heat,
Don't feel important like that forgotten book that's high up on that Bookshelf,
Just got to keep the faith that someone is going to feel me and my words as I'll always stay true to my Self ..."
