We did trust falls as kids. Kids who would risk a bruise or a headache just to see if someone would catch them.
They put trust in them like I put trust in you. I was risking my heart instead of a headache.
Instead of hitting the ground, I hit the bottom. The bottom of heartbreak or my version of it.
Dreams unfolded before my eyes, to only be shattered by the impact of my landing. Next time I'll fall facing forward.
