Thunderstorms have arrived today

Wind and rain and lightning came

The sun is out , bright now for a bit

But more storms still that remain

The thunder from the first storm

It made me jump from the sound

The booming crack was so very loud

These storms can very easily pound

It's the end of March

Soon it will be warm

The heat will make you parched

Hot long days will be the norm

Then after the second storm came

The rain came down in buckets hard

It downpoured for twenty minutes

It's good for the grass in the yard

The sun was just out for a bit now

The humidity came along with it

I walked uptown with a coat on

I was so hot from the heat I admit

it's the end of March

Soon it will be warm

The heat will make you parched

Hot long days will be the norm

Spring time may have made it's way

Though in a couple days it gets cold

Not too cold though , may not snow

If we're lucky winter will now fold

I'm waiting for a friend to come visit

We will chat for a few then he's gone

He is very busy today , not much time

We both agree this winter has been overdrawn

It's the end of March
