Two poles
I’m swaying like a pendulum,
Once side is euphoric and the other side
Melancholy,
It repeats verbatim,
Rocking back and forth and won’t stop.
In euphoria’s presence I feel a high off life but no regard for consequences, that part of my brain is shut off,
Then flip the switch and my emotions become soft. Mind like an overgrown forest that is tangled,
I feel dangled and damaged,
And it’s hard when I feel I can’t manage.
These two poles on opposite sides,
I put out all these lies.
That I am ok…
I’m reminded it’s ok to not be ok.
Sometimes I don’t feel that way.
