Let the darkness lead us into the light,
Let it erase the all eternal strife and blight,
The two of these are sworn enemies by nature,
Though none can live if the other dies,
The two sides, who are in control, of every creature,
It is only with this balance that the universe survives,
Light brings joy, darkness brings sorrow,
One fills us up while the other leaves us hollow,
I am astounded to see this miraculous cycle,
Understanding it, though, was more than a mere trifle,
The light and the darkness fall equally upon each being,
The sun shining without a shadow, that’s seldom to be seen.
There is always an opening at the end of the cave,
From pitch darkness, and blinding light, only the other can save,
We have to realize, that the two forces are supreme to us all,
We must respect them if we do not wish an overhaul.
