Two years since you left

Two years since you left (for my mother R.i.P.)

December twenty eighth is now two years without you

Two winters , two Christmases and two new years

All have been lonely and barren not having you with us

We hold you in our hearts deeply and keep you near

Grandchildren and great grandkids miss you so much

Us siblings , four of us , each have our own memories

You gave us so much and asked for so little in return

We are very proud of you and your many pleasantries

I write this for the whole family and how much you meant

You made all our lives full of happiness and enjoyment

You gave all that you could to make us all contented

You were a woman of your word for our betterment

The clocks will never ever go back and let us see you again

Time will move on and the memories will become more special

Thinking of you all the time and wishing you're in a better place

There should be somewhere just for you to rest like a shrine or temple

Our thoughts and prayers go to you wherever you may be now

Take care now Mother , you've been through so much in your life

It's your love that held our family together for so many years

The final days of your struggles are over...but within us you're alive
