Undefiled

In the depths of my soul, your spirit holds sway,
A whisper of eternity, where memories won't fade.
Guiding me to bravery, steadfast and true,
Your essence, a compass, forging a life anew.
The gentleness of your embrace, forever engrained,
The cadence of your heartbeat, a love unrestrained.
Though few words were spoken, your presence spoke loud,
A refuge in silence, a lifeline through any crowd.
I pondered my heart, its flaws and its strife,
But you brushed away worries, igniting hope in my life.
Yet time slips away, memories start to dim,
A murmur of your name, a void that won't trim.
Pain intertwines with life's complex charades,
Joy fleeting, like secrets whispered in cascades.
In fragmented shadows, we seek solace anew,
Craving the arms of a stranger, longing for you.
We waltzed through despair, our burdens entwined,
Together we weathered the loneliness we find.
Tears gently cascading from our weary eyes,
Beneath the gleam of moon, our souls intertwined.
Conversations, heartfelt, hung in the air,
Words like a soft rain, etching scars most unfair.
We fell like wounded birds, tethered to the earth,
As memories crumbled, their echoes losing worth.
How much pain does it take to push one to the edge,
Drowning in thoughts, longing to sever the pledge?
Multiply it, amplify it, let despair overflow,
Lost in a labyrinth, seeking solace, I know.
Guilt piles high, fear of kindness so grand,
Growing, intensifying, self-loathing at hand.
How much light will mend these wounds buried deep,
Turning them pure white, secrets released, fears asleep?
Double it, triple it, let them burn unseen,
Resilience born in flames, strength fierce and serene.
And there she stands, my survivor, my child,
Forged from the crucible, untamed and undefiled.
