Under The Moonlight

THE HUNTER
He stepped out, the darkness clinging to his form
He embraced it, welcomed it, taking the path
Headed to his prey, the clouds part, letting loose the might of the night
The moon's nectar glow shining down upon an open field
He sights his prey, slowly but with all the aura hades himself could muster
His mission, to hunt and kill, who and why matter not
His blade tearing through the open space, blood gushing out with red and the delightful scream accompanied by the death of his prey
He bathed in it, he welcomed it, just as I welcome the certainty before me,
My death sudden and final
THE PREY
The aura of death suddenly clings in the air with morbidity and a red haired hunter
The light of the moon shining down on his form as he approaches slowly and surely
Surely to take down his prey, with his head on a pike if he so pleases
Fear grips upon my heart as his red eyes set their gaze on mine
There's a chill in the air, or is it me just having peed myself
His blade, long and a wonder when bathed in the nectar radiance of the moon
What a beautiful sight, for one that is my last
