True love, they say, is pure and true,
A bond that lasts forever through,
A love that burns with fiery flame,
And never dims or fades in shame.
But what if I were to tell you this,
That true love doesn't always end in bliss?
That sometimes it can hurt and ache,
And leave your heart in shattered wake?
For true love, my dear, is not a fairytale,
It's not always sunshine, rainbows, and a happy trail,
It's a rollercoaster ride, with ups and downs,
And a bittersweet taste that oftentimes surrounds.
True love can be messy, complex, and hard,
It can leave you scarred, broken, and emotionally barred,
It can make you question, doubt, and fear,
And leave you with a heart that's bleeding and seared.
But even with all this pain and sorrow,
True love is still worth cherishing tomorrow,
For it's a love that transcends time and space,
And fills our souls with beauty and grace.
So if you find yourself on this path of love,
Remember that sometimes it's not enough,
That true love doesn't always have a happy ending,
But it's still worth every moment, every memory, and every feeling.
