what made her beautiful
isn't those curves on her body,
nor the fairness of her skin,
but the wounds she's been keeping
all her life that bloomed into
wondrous, unique, and pretty flowers
all over her skin that is rooted in her soul,
which experienced several breakdowns.
and maybe,
what made him attractive
isn't those masculine gestures,
nor the features of his face,
but the battles he have won in silence
that made him into someone who
collects self-improvement trophies.
and maybe,
what made everyone unique and worthy
isn't those compliments,
nor the bought achievements,
but the silent wins everyone has
and the self-love they earned after
decades of doubts and pain.
