Why do I feel like I have this need to apologize for words I wrote when my heart was broken?
At that time, my heart felt crushed and irreparable. The hurt was raw.
There were days where I was living minute by minute, barely getting by, not knowing when it would ease OR even if it would.
I was consumed by tears as I wrote those 'not so polite' words.
Truly,
You broke my heart
And truly, I meant every word
