Is it okay to let the abuse slide?
Just because the person has changed twice.
The people are bound to talk about the past,
bound to pass on the stories to the younger ones,
Who wasn't there to stop the injustice that was done.
What is to be expected after hearing those stories,
that makes others seeth with anger and think,
'If only I had been there'
When the so called changed person still hangs around near,
And the suspicion remains,
Of whether he has truly changed,
And whether the action should be taken,
Even this late in the game full of compromise.
