Unspoken Reflections
I am very lonely, yes I am,
I wish I could find the girl of my dreams.
I may be gay and they don't understand,
It isn't as easy as it seems.
I’m a tomboy who can't show my true face,
Because you get judged so many times.
People name-call and put you in a place,
Leaving a hurt that words can't define.
We feel so broken because of the crowd,
But still, we just want to find love.
We ask these questions out loud:
What is this love we dream of?
Why is it so hard to find out there,
And why does it feel so out of reach?
Do you have to be girly for someone to care,
Or can you just be yourself, I beseech?
