When his wife left him, the poet sank into sorrow.
He told me he'd write love poems again, if his love comes back.
For years I waited, hoping his lines of sorrow would give way to love.
I waited until he wrote his final lines, before I saw something different.
But it wasn't about love, it was about death and the afterliife.
The poet was heartbroken until he wrote his swan song, until his ship sailed away.
