Failure is giving up without fighting,
as a warrior
I refuse to fail.
Battle is in my blood
and a red haze in my eyes.
If you ask me to give up
the your asking me to fail,
and that negative energy is unwelcome here.
Leave me to beat the obstacles
for they will leave me stronger still.
I will never bow down
when my fists are prepared to cry.
Anger my fuel
and the tension of the trebuchets taught.
I will not give up
in the face of adversity.
